🇨🇻 Cape Verde · EASE pre-registration + airport security tax
Cape Verde EASE — pre-register for ~€31, or pay ~€62 at the airport
Cape Verde replaced its visa for many travellers with EASE — a mandatory online entry pre-registration plus airport security tax. Pre-register and pay at the official ease.gov.cv and it's about €31 (3,400 CVE); leave it until the airport and it roughly doubles to about €62 (6,800 CVE) as a regularisation penalty. From 1 January 2026, EASE pre-registration became a formal entry requirement for listed nationalities. Register at least 5 days before departure.
| who needs it | Nationals on Cape Verde's EASE list — from 1 January 2026 it is required for entry, and even for airport transit, for listed nationalities. Check the eligibility list on the official portal. |
